The Lamson Liquid -7+ Spare Spool is perfect if you already own, or are purchasing with the Lamson Liquid or Remix -7+ Fly Reel and want to use your reel on two different outfits, or you want another fly line, such as a sink tip or full sinking fly line to adapt to changing fishing conditions. This product is the Spare Spool only.

Structurally you can do things with casting that you can’t machine, such as create full radiused compound curves, a near zero-radius inside corners, and for a precise fit, you can go back and machine the cast part in critical areas as needed. By importing the cast frame but assembling the reel with the US-made CNC-machined drag system here in Boise, Idaho Lamson is able to maintain the quality expected of a Lamson reel while offering a surprising price point.
