All Suburban RV Hot Water Systems are equipped with a Premium Magnesium Anode Rod designed to absorb the corrosive action of hot water.
Located at the bottom of the HWS under the main burner, this rod can be easily unscrewed to drain the tank of water. When the rod shows signs of corrosion, simply replace it with a new one for optimal performance.
The Suburban Anode Rod is specifically designed for use in 4, 5, and 6-gallon tanks, featuring a durable 304 stainless steel core. It is important to note that using imitation anode rods may cause damage to your Suburban HWS.
