River & Lakes

The Shoalhaven River is running clean and full of life, with healthy catches of Bream and Luderick a common occurrence. The anglers throwing soft plastics and Vibes have been getting their share of decent sized Mulloway and the nocturnal live baiters have been also successful.

There have some huge Bream taken in the Basin lately and there are still some nice Mulloway getting about for those keen enough to chase them.

The Rocks & Beaches

There have been good numbers of Kingfish being caught from the rock ledges around Jervis Bay with most fish being Rats just below or just over the legal length But there have been some Hoods amongst them!

Salmon and Tailor are about on most beaches and shouldn't take to much effort to find. There have been some good school size Mulloway sneaking about the beaches in particular 7 mile beach. Fresh yellowtail fillets or squid and some patience will give you a fair chance with the silver ghosts.

Offshore

Yellowfin Tuna and Bluefin Tuna are in full swing with some serious fish hitting the decks. Trolling covering ground and throwing stickbaits have both been successful methods. We have just stocked up on the popular Montague Jigs Big Baits, these are a gun lure for big tuna and available in some fantastic colours! We also have Hooks and Stinger hooks to suit these lures.
