LOCAL LAKES & RIVERS

With the wattle starting to bloom locally, this is a good indicator the Murray Cod are getting more aggressive as we lead into spring.

Cod will attack a range of lures and flies, predominantly larger in size.

These include hard-bodied deep divers from Predatek, Kuttafurra and Stumpjumpers.

These are all versatile lures that can be cast or trolled.

The new 11” Sicario have just hit the shelves and look perfect for XOS cod.

The range of Rivulet Cod Flies including the "Cod Bother" & "Monkey Puzzle" are well worth a chuck on the fly rod.

Catches of 10+ fish in a session have been common.

Some Large fish have been spotted cruising the shallows.
