The Rocks & Beaches

It Wont be long now before the warmer northern waters push onto our shores and bringing with it all the summer pelagics. At the moment there are a few Kingfish around the local rocks especially Jervis Bay with most fish around the legal size. Salmon and Tailor are still in decent numbers along our Rocks and Beaches and the odd Mulloway here and there. Some good Bream and Flathead along the southern half of 7 Mile Beach.

Rivers & Lakes

Reports of a few Mulloway being caught in the Shoalhaven River are still coming in with most fish being in that 60 to 80cm class. Plenty of Bream, Flathead and Luderick about the river and as the water warms up we should see a few decent Whiting start to bite. Further up river Bass have been in amazing numbers from the Animal park to as far up as you wish to travel. Some big carp about up there too if you feel like having some fun.

In The Basin some horse Flathead have been caught and some nice Mulloway on trolled deep divers.

In the Snowies the trout have been on the chew with some nice fish on the fly especially in the Eucumbene River.

Offshore

There has been a good run of Snapper inshore lately and some nice kings around the shallows. Reports of Marlin on the move up north means its time to blow the dust of the gear and get organised as it wont be long before they are here.
