The Rocks & Beaches

There has been a steady run of smaller Kingfish along our rocky coastline but more recently larger Hoodlum Kings have been stirring things up from Shellharbour to Jervis Bay. As the water warms up we should see the Bonito turn on and the LBG boys will be keeping a close eye on the Sea Surface Charts.
The Beaches have been pretty consistent with bread-and-butter species and the salmon have been in force on most local beaches.

Rivers & Lakes

The Basin has been giving up the odd oversized Flathead lately for those putting in the time and good numbers of smaller size mulloway on lures. The Shoalhaven River has been consistent on the Bream and Blackfish of late and healthy numbers of Bass up in the fresh. A few guys have been putting in some hours with live baits lately and rewarded with some nice Mulloway even in the daylight hours

Offshore

The current is pushing downhill and all the good stuff that travels the conveyor will soon arrive. The odd Striped Marlin has been spotted and one or two caught here and there but still a bit early. All the Action locally seems to be big Kingfish on the Banks and Inshore grounds. If you are after a good size Kingy now would be the time to give it a go! Live Baits, Down rigging, Jigging, and stickbaiting are all worth a shot.
