The Rocks & Beaches

You don't need to put in too much effort at the moment to nail a few Salmon and Tailor from our local beaches. Flathead and some good-sized Bream have been on the chew in Jervis Bay on most beaches. 7 Mile Beach continues to produce great mixed bags with the odd Mulloway here and there to spice it up.

The Rocks are fishing well for the usual suspects such as Drummer and Luderick but still quiet on the pelagic scene, however its almost that time of year for them to arrive in numbers.

River & Lakes

The Basin has been fishing well lately with even a few decent-sized Mulloway turning in on. Flathead have been all the talk with some big fishing being taken. A lot of drone filming over the shallows of big Flatties nailing lures seems to be getting a few excited over social media and much of this footage circulating was from the Basin.

The Shoalhaven River continues not to disappoint with Bass and Estuary Perch in amazing numbers and quality size being caught from the Animal park right up to the Wall. Reports of good-sized bags of Flathead being caught closer to the Punt area with fish up to the 75cm mark.

Offshore

Some good kings around at the moment with fish up to and over 20kg being caught. Currarong bombie and out to the Banks all proving worth a shot. Still the odd Yellowfin here and there and It won't be long being those stick faces begin to harass the local waters.
